Land O’Lakes believes strongly in helping local cooperatives develop the leadership skills of their most valuable assets: people. The Land O’Lakes Executive Agribusiness Program, or LEAP, was created with that commitment in mind.

LEAP is designed to help cooperatives prepare for generational shifts in leadership positions and to enhance the performance of current leaders. This invitation-only program helps current and future leaders tackle increased responsibilities and demands, and gives them a broader, more strategic perspective to understand the cooperative business as a whole.

The core content of this 13-month program includes business strategy and planning, financial management, strategic marketing, organizational development, and leadership. These content areas are covered during seven educational sessions—three distance-delivered, three in-classroom residencies, and one international experience in South America.
